Can you guys believe we are only a few weeks away from Christmas and the new year?Time really flies, anyway it’s that time again!!Today I’m sharing with you November’s First Impressions.Be warned, it is filled with many lip products.
The BodyShop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Lotion
I won this along with other products from this range in a competition ran by Katlz from Gentleorchid, GOD bless her soul ❤.I fell inlove with this lotion immediately when I used it.It gives my skin this lovely glow and doesn’t leave my skin oily.I use it day and night & I’ve been receiving compliments on how my skin looks, thanks Katz for this doll? If you are struggling with dull skin, I suggest you give this a try.
The BodyShop Tea Tree Oil
I recently suffered severe breakouts on my skin, and I grabbed this baby to help get rid of the zits and any marks they might leave behind. When I got this, I somehow thought it would work as a spot treatment overnight since its tea tree oil, what I can say is that it works but definitely not overnight. The good thing is that, after treating the zits there are no acne marks left behind and that’s a tick in my books. If you’re looking for something to work overnight rather opt for a spot treatment, but if you’ve got the patience unlike me then this product will do.
The BodyShop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash
I love the idea that the Body Shop made these in travel sizes, this is convenient for first time buyers! Instead of buying a full sized product which might not work for you, these are great and cost less than 50 bucks. They also have body butters in travel sizes? Now about this baby, this face wash doesn’t foam up a lot like most products I’ve used.It claims to purify and keep the skin clear.Sadly, this product doesn’t do much for my skin except giving it that clean feeling after cleansing and it doesn’t prevent my skin from breakouts. If you have breakout prone skin and need something to help keep them at bay this won’t be of much help.
JTOne Let’s Glow Girl Fresh Body Mist
I’m a huge girl fan of JTOne products!! I LOVE the brand to bits.I recently picked up this body mist from their new Let’s Glow range and I NEVER leave the house WITHOUT it.This is perfect for those hot days, when you need a fresh scent to uplift your mood.It gets rid of funny odour, and smells fresh and divine.I sometimes use it as a pillow spray.Words can’t express how much I love this spray,I can take a hundred of these babies any day!Love❤
Impress Press On Nails
This came as a sample with copy of Glamour magazine.I’ve seen few positive reviews on these nails and was excited to try them.Upon trying these I had mixed thoughts, I liked the fact that they are very convenient. I struggled to find the perfect fit for some of my nails and they shifted a lot, that was not a nice experience.I wish there was a broader variety in terms of nail size, not sure if that was cause these were a sample but if this is how the original product is then I’ll skip.
Wet n Wild Wild Shine Nail Color
I love these nail polishes all because the colors are popping and are perfect for summer but they stain my nails when I remove them and they also aren’t long lasting as my Essence nail polishes.Playing a bit far from these for the time being.
Essence Velvet Stick Matt Lip Colour
Like the description, this glides on like “velvet” on my lips. It feels comfortable on my lips and isn’t drying at all.The only downside is that it doesn’t last long.
L.A Girl Glazed Lip Paint
I had high hopes for this, after the swatches and reviews I saw. This is not a lip paint at all,it doesn’t stain the lips that much. For me this works just like gloss, nothing intense about it.Love the fact that it’s not sticky and the shade variety is killer. But overall this is just okay.
KleanColor Madly Matte Lipglosses
These glosses cost me a dollar each, yup you heard well. The way I was so excited when they arrived,it was one hell of a wait. The glosses are seriously pigmented! The only thing to dislike about these is the fact that they are very sticky on the lips which is a bit annoying but for the sake of the pigmentation and longevity I can bare with that.
Labello Be Bold Blackberry Shine Balm
Labello balms have always been a favourite,so I didnt hesitate to get myself the new blackberry shade.I was expecting a more pigmented balm than all the other balms that are already there, but this just leaves a tint which is barely recognisable on my lips, the moisture content is still great and of course it smells great.I think the tint will be more visible on lighter complexions.
That’s it from me guys.
Have you tried any of these?See any you might like to try? What are your thoughts?Hit me up
Till the next one
